Thad and Tiffany started Knotty Construction after working in the construction industry for many years. Thad’s entire life was surrounded by builders and playing at jobsites as a young kid. Thad has been involved in residential construction since 2003. Tiffany and Thad met in 2012, and by 2016 we began working together in residential restoration. In 2019 we built our first home in Rockwood, TN. After having two children, we prioritized spending time with our young children. Thus, Knotty Construction was born.
Knotty Construction allows us to provide an intimate experience and provide the highest level of customer service to our customers. We enjoy taking our children to the job sites, as they are not only observing but learning the trade just as their father did. In 2023, we built our first barndominium located in Kingston, TN.
Being a locally owned family business, we can provide customers with the highest quality customer service. We collaborate directly with you to curate beautiful spaces and pieces. Rooms where memories are woven, ideas are born, tables where conversations never end, and joy is deepened.
